*These handmade rattles are each one of a kind, heirloom baby rattles, made with love and made in the USA using mostly USA sourced materials. They are made with soft, high- quality 100% cotton yarn. Baby will be enraptured with the rattle noises and the different textures of the yarn and the wood ring. This stimulation and engagement is great for brain development. This rattle is durable and will last through years of play! (I know because my son still has his and it is still intact and is almost three years old!) These rattles make the perfect baby shower or pregnancy gift!
**This is for a Made-To-Order item that is made after you order so it will take 5-7 days to make and get shipped.
**As an added bonus, every order comes with a Free Baby Board Book!
*Each rattle is made with soft, high-quality, 100% cotton, a smooth wooden ring, and Poly-fil filling, all sourced from the USA. The plastic rattle box is not from the USA. The eyes are embroidered on for extra safety!
Wipe clean with a washcloth and let dry. Do not put in the washer or dishwasher or the wooden ring can become damaged.
*I take pride in my workmanship and craftsmanship as I make these adorable rattles while using as much high-quality material sourced in the US as possible. Being handmade, these rattles truly are one of a kind. No two will be alike.
*Please never leave the child unattended while playing with this rattle. If something happens that the rattle breaks, please discard so it doesn’t present a choking hazard.

It takes about 6 hours to crochet each rattle by hand, starting with the head. I embroider the eyes and stuff the head as I go, making sure not to forget the rattle box inside! Making the ears, horns, hats, spots and trunks and sewing those on comes next. After that, I crochet the “body” pieces to attach the head and tails to the ring and braid the elephant tails onto the bottom body piece. Next comes sewing it all together- first the ears, horns, and trunks to the heads, then the body pieces onto the ring and then the head and tails onto the bodies. Last, but not least, I take the time to take and edit photos and get everything listed!
